"Rule of Thirds" cropping.

Photographers are about subtleties, the subtleties of their craft & this is no exception when it comes to the software they use for editing their photographs.

The option to have the grid up in Aperture 2 (the same grid we photographers use daily in our cameras) is a familiar feature which adds a nice touch while cropping, this along with the other new Adjustments like targeting a portion of a photo makes it possible.

It became obvious to the attending crowd at ProPhoto Expo 2008 that if they
did not immediately get a seat after a class they would not be able to test drive Aperture 2.

      The standout features:
The new RAW processing engine was the most commented feature of the show,
flexible multiple views, command key & highlight recovery,
command key & black point, command key & crop, viewing in the new Preview mode
was a feature many commented about, guides in book making, the new brushes & Vibrancy.

I never tired of hearing the comment, "This is so much faster than..."

      Until next time...
