Frequently, I get asked by my clients to help them locate any duplicate photographs that were accidentally imported twice into Aperture. Here are a few ways to achieve this:

Let's first try this using Aperture.

Open Aperture. Now let's open Aperture's Project Panel (keyboard shortcut w) & Browser to locate duplicate images.

First we'll change a few of Aperture's defaults.

Let's begin with Aperture's Project Panel. As you'll notice in the image below the Project Panel is set by default to show All Projects. Click on the downward arrow next to the words All Projects & instead choose Show Recent & make sure there is a check mark next to the words Show Recent.

Now select All Image located below the Aperture Library. If you do not see this click on the Disclosure Triangle next to the Library.
