Kelvin-Helmholtz waves over Mesa, Arizona. I’ve seen these elusive cloud formations rarely in my life, they only last for a few seconds. The ones above I spotted as I was in a parking lot in Arizona, by the time I opened the trunk for the camera the waves had peaked and crested.

I have attempted to keep the images as real & true to color, texture, and surroundings without the use of filters (except for an occasional polarizing filters to bring out detail). I adhere to the practice of documenting the subject exactly as it is found in nature & make every effort to not disrupt the areas where subjects are found.
