Harris Falcon (Parabuteo unicinctus) on a branch in Arizona near the Grand Canyon. Harris falcons are considered to be the most social of raptors.
Raptors sharp eyes, sharp talons, sharp curved beaks
Eurasian Eagle Owl (Bubo bubo), orange eyes, large built & ear tufts. This owl was about 3 feet tall & it can kill small animals like foxes, small deer for food. It is the largest of the owl species. He was having a stare down with my camera lens obviously jealous of it's size ;)
Special thanks to Master Falconer, Susan Ruble & the folks at High Country Raptors, may you succeed in your conservation mission.
Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) showing detail of it's nostril nipple designed so it can breath during it's 200+ mile per hour stoops.
