Here’s an image of the classic looking mushroom found in many children’s books, Amanita muscaria. I think one of the best things I enjoy about mushroom hunting, besides hiking through the damp forests, is finding all the unusual looking mushrooms, green ones, purple ones, transparent ones & the ones that stain indigo blue are my favorite. On one particular mushroom foraging trip we ventured over to a cliff that overlooked the Pacific Ocean, we were blessed to see a pod of whales playing out in front of us for many hours, we soaked up the last rays of the sun before heading back home on the winding roads over the mountains
