Siobhan

This is Siobhan, probably the best model I have had the fortune to work with. I think it is rare for a photographer to come across a model who he really enjoys collabrating with. Some of the best photographs in my portfolio are of Siobhan. Siobhan is an artist like myself so it became very easy for us to head in a certain direction artistically

This shot was taken at one of the studios I shared with photographer/cinematographer Tom Brozovich, my good friend & mentor at the time. Tom & I shared three studios together – an abandoned rice factory, a large flat above a cigar store & at the school Tom taught at. This rice factory was half a mile long & came complete with security guards. What made it nice to shoot in this place was the wonderful lighting we would get at all times of the day. The sun would shine in through the dirty sky lights & give us wonderfully diffused light. We had use of this rice factory for about two an a half years before it was destroyed to make way for, you guessed it, a mall
