At Huntington Beach, California outside my studio sometime between 1981-1984.

I pumped out about 6-20 of these surfboards per week depending on how tired I would be after fighting fires & screwing off at the beach.

This one was for the "Chuck Dent Surfboards" shop which carried Rick "Rockin Fig" Fignetti surfboards shaped by Sammy Hawk & Larry Mcnealy.

No computers, no Photoshop, just air, paint, spray gun, tape & a little imagination. The Chuck Dent crew were pretty good to work for. They'd cut me loose in my studio which was next to Merrilee's (at the time a bikini boutique).
