Some of the comments I heard during the Aperture session were, "Wow, Aperture is fast, are we working with RAW files?" "When are we going to save the project?" "What? We making numerous versions of the same photograph without doing a SaveAs?" Photographers have waited a long time for an application like Aperture. It was very cool seeing the smiles on the photographer's faces as Joe demo'ed the application. For we photographers Aperture has allowed us to streamline & speed up our photography workflow.
